This week’s « Open Your Mind » seminar will be given by Claire Wyart, leader of the team “Sensory Spinal Signaling” of the Paris Brain Institute – Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle. Claire Wyart’s team investigates the neuromodulatory pathways in the brain and spinal cord and their effects on locomotion and posture. The team is particularly interested in sensory feedback and the descending command that triggers locomotion in the hindbrain by projecting onto spinal circuits.
The seminar will be held this Friday, November 13 2020 between 1:30 pm and 3 pm Online. The seminar topic will be “Tasting from within: discovery of a novel sensory system in the spinal cord”. For more information, please refer to the attached short description.
