The BME-Paris Master is designed to provide a 2-year education program in the field of bioengineering, at the crossroad of biomedical and engineering sciences
I am a senior scientist at MINES ParisTech, where I develop a research activity in Biomechanics. I graduated from Polytech’Paris-UPMC with a major in Materials Chemistry. After a Master of Science in Materials Chemistry at ESPCI-Paris/UPMC, I received my PhD in 1998 in Materials Science & Engineering at MINES ParisTech. My main current research projects explore the characterization of the mechanical properties and the numerical modeling of biological tissues and structures or prosthetic materials, with two main fields of application: the surgical simulation and the computer-aided design of medical devices.
