Short Biography

Hélène Pillet received a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieur en Constructions Aéronautiques in 2000 and became student of Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan. She passed the French Highest Teaching Diploma in Mechanics and Technology (Agrégation) in 2002. She received a PhD in Biomechanics from ENSAM in 2006 (Pierre Bezier best thesis award) and an habilitation from the University Paris 7 in 2015. She joined the Institut de Biomécanique Humaine Georges Charpak/ Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Paris (France) in 2007. She is coresponsible of the team “Sport, Mobility and Disability” since 2019. Her research is oriented toward movement analysis in several fields in order to understand the behavior of musculo skeletal system and to develop protocols to improve clinical evaluation of patients and design of rehabilitation training programs.
