BME Seminars: Nicola Hagemeister

The next BME seminar will take place on Friday 18th january with a lecture of Nicola HAGEMEISTER from the Ecole de Technologie Supérieure (Montréal, Canada) (see attached flyer). His conference is entitled "A innovative tool for measuring knee kinematics: from the lab to clinics ".

Measurement of knee kinematics is performed in research labs for decades. The methods that are used allow accurate assessment of knee kinematics in dynamic conditions, but they are for most of them too cumbersome or too costly to be used on a routine clinical basis. The present conference will present the work that has been done at the Laboratoire de recherche en imagerie et orthopédie (Montréal, Canada) to develop and validate a tool that allows non-invasive, accurate, repeatable and valid measurement of knee kinematics to be used in a clinical context.

The conference will take place at the Arts & Métiers ParisTech, 151 boulevard de l’Hôpital, 75013 Paris, Amphi Fournel, from 13h30 to 15h00.

To avoid disturbing the talk, thank you for being on time.

PS : We remind you that your presence to the BME-seminars is mandatory for M1 and M2 students.
