BME Seminars: Jean-François BERRET

This Friday 19th october, the BME seminars will host a lecture of Jean-François BERRET entitled "Nanomaterials for Biology". Jean-François BERRET is CNRS research director at University Paris Diderot in the laboratory Matière and Systèmes Complexes. (See attached flyer).

Abstract:
"In my group, we develop novel functional nanostructures with stimuli-responsive features and biocompatibility. Based on techniques of assembly at the nanoscale using non-covalent interactions, this approach offers versatility and simplicity for the fabrication of novel nanomaterials with enhanced functionalities. The second objective of this research deals with the applications of these nanoscale materials for medicine and biology, including imaging and therapy in living cells and tissues, as well as studies of cyto- and genotoxicity."

The conference will take place at Arts & Métiers ParisTech, 151 boulevard de l’Hôpital, 75013 Paris, Amphi Fournel, from 13h30 to 15h00.

PS : We remind you that your presence to the BME-seminars is mandatory for M1 and M2 students.
