The BME-Paris Master results from a partnership between
Université Paris Descartes and
Paris Institute of Technology (ParisTech, member of IDEA League). Based on this unique partnership, this Master is founded on an educational policy based on interdisciplinarity and students initiative as well as on an international perspective. This policy is supported by the top-level and complementary expertise and know how of both partners: engineering sciences in ParisTech schools and biomedical and health sciences at the Université Paris Descartes.

BME-Paris Master: a labeled ParisTech Master
Because BME-Paris Master responds to criteria of high quality educational and scientific objectives and relevant employability, the Master is distinguished by the label "Master ParisTech" which selects the best of Master programs taught by ParisTech Grandes Ecoles and their academic partners.
These programs are endorsed by French and international educational institutions and leading business firms (Renault, Total, Veolia Environnement, etc.). Courses invariably include theory, methods and application, and 4 to 6 month hands-on experience in a business firm or research lab and the ensuing dissertation. They provide the top-level theoretical input and practical experience that opens doors to exciting careers in the business or research world.
